R.A.D. Camps is Central Oregon’s hub for youth exploration, offering distinct programs for ages 3–15.
From the deep forests of the Cascades to our creative Makerspace and nature-based preschool, we provide the perfect environment for every kind of adventurer.
Across all our tracks—Adventure, Studio, and Nest—we emphasize unstructured play, genuine camaraderie, and interest-based learning. We believe that when kids are given the freedom to choose their own activities, they build resilience, confidence, and deep connections with their peers.
Our mission is to give children a reprieve from tightly scheduled routines. By fostering creativity, social interaction, and physical activity, we get kids unplugged, engaged, and excited to discover what they are capable of achieving.
Whether your child is a builder, a hiker, or a gentle explorer, we have a place for them. Our specialized Nest, Studio, and Adventure programs meet kids exactly where their interests lie.
Our team is our superpower. From WFR-certified wilderness guides to experienced makers and early childhood specialists, our staff are trained professionals dedicated to safety and growth.
We ditch the rigid itinerary. Whether building a robot in the Studio or building a fort in the forest, kids learn best when they are empowered to follow their own curiosity.
Real world, real friends. We swap screens for tools, trails, and teammates. It’s a 100% digital detox designed to build social confidence and resilience in a distraction-free zone.

Traveling with kids does not mean sitting still. Our programs are built to work for visiting families who want flexible, high-quality options while they explore Central Oregon.
We offer drop-in and short-term enrollment for select programs, with clear schedules, professional staff, and all major gear provided. Kids spend their days adventuring, creating, and playing while parents ski, hike, work remotely, or enjoy Bend.
Everything starts and ends at our Seven Peaks campus, with guided van trips to parks, trails, and destinations around the region when part of the program. No planning gymnastics required.
