How To Register

Where a professional makerspace meets a classic summer camp. Whether you want to laser-cut a robot, throw clay on a wheel, or just get messy with paint, this is your studio.

Create. Build. Make It Real.

Real Professional tools

Not just cardboard and glue. We train campers on professional-grade equipment—from 3D printers and laser cutters to soldering irons—in a dedicated industrial makerspace.

Junior & Senior Tracks

A studio for every stage. We split the cohort into "Junior Makers" (7-9) for exploration and "Senior Designers" (10-13) for mastery, ensuring older kids feel challenged, not babysat.

Art Meets Engineering

The best makers are artists. Our "Featured Labs" rotate between the messy tactile work of ceramics and painting and the precision focus of robotics and woodworking.

Open Studio Format

We ditch rigid schedules for agency. Campers enter a "Residency" mindset, choosing their own stations and diving deep into projects that matter to them

A Studio for Every Stage

We believe the best makers are artists, and the best artists are makers. We do both.

Track 1: Junior Makers
(Ages 7–9)

  • The Vibe: Exploration & Fun.

  • Focus: Trying everything once! High-energy rotations through art and building.

  • Tools: Clay, paint, glue guns, hand saws, simple circuits, textiles.

  • Staffing: High support ratio for hands-on help.

Track 2: Senior Designers
(Ages 10–13)

  • The Vibe: Independence & Mastery.

  • Focus: "Leveling Up." Campers earn "Tool Licenses" to use advanced equipment.

  • Tools: 3D printers, laser cutters, soldering irons, power tools, digital design software.

  • Staffing: Mentorship role (helping troubleshoot complex designs).

The Rad Studios: Where Imagination Meets Industry

The Design Studio (The Maker Space)

The Vibe: High-tech, industrial, and precise. This is where engineering meets design. Our Design Studio is modeled after professional fabrication labs, giving students safe access to the kind of hardware usually reserved for college campuses or professional workshops.

What students have access to:

  • Rapid Prototyping: A fleet of MakerBot Sketch 3D Printers for bringing digital models into the physical world.

  • Laser Precision: An Epilog Laser Cutter for precise cutting and engraving of wood, acrylic, and cardboard.

  • The "Wall of Power": A comprehensive, shadow-boarded tool wall featuring Ryobi cordless drills, hot glue stations, and sanding tools.

  • Hand Tools & Hardware: Full sets of screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, saws (coping and hand saws), and hammers.

  • Fabrication & Assembly: Heavy-duty workbenches equipped with vices, clamps of every size, and ample space for assembly.

  • Materials Library: Fully stocked bins containing prototyping plastic, wood, wire, hardware, and electronics components.

The Art Studio

The Vibe: Bright, colorful, and expressive. Flooded with natural light and surrounded by inspiration, the Art Studio is a sanctuary for traditional mediums. It is a space designed to get messy, experiment with texture, and master the fundamentals of art.

What students have access to:

  • Ceramics Center: Dedicated Pottery Wheels and hand-building stations for turning clay into functional art.

  • Painting & Drawing: High-quality easel setups, varying grades of canvas/paper, and a rainbow of acrylics, watercolors, and gouache.

  • Textile Arts: A vast collection of yarn, fabrics, embroidery tools, and sewing supplies for fiber arts and soft sculpture.

  • Sculpture & Mixed Media: Shelves packed with "loose parts," organic materials, and crafting essentials for mixed-media collages and 3D builds.

  • Inspiration: A reference library and visual aids (from Van Gogh to modern design) to help spark the next great idea.
