Do campers make the same project?

Not necessarily. Guides introduce skills and prompts, but campers make choices about subject, materials, scale, and style.

Is Art Camp only for beginners?

No. Beginners get an inviting way in, while experienced young artists can work with more detail, planning, experimentation, and independence.

Do you offer pottery or ceramics?

This Art Camp does not include pottery-wheel or kiln-fired ceramics. The current studio focuses on paint, paper, print, textiles, cardboard, papier-mâché, collage, and mixed media.

Is this the same program as Design & Build?

No. The camps share a full-day rhythm and campus, but campers register for one program. There is no automatic rotation between rooms.

What if my camper is nine, ten, or eleven and could fit either camp?

Choose Art Camp when visual art and material exploration are the main draw. Choose Design & Build when tools, engineering, circuits, and construction are the main draw.

Can my camper switch programs during the week?

Not routinely. Campers register for one full-week program and stay with that group. If the placement seems wrong, contact R.A.D. Camps; any change requires a director review and is not guaranteed.

R.A.D. Art Camp

A full-week visual-art camp for ages 7–11 at Seven Peaks School.
Camp hours: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM. Tuition: $495/week.
